Seasons

A Wildlife Short Story in Four Acts

The forest right next to my house is the place where, during the last years, I spent most of my spare time together with Fluffy the Fearless Bunny, Unicorn the Roe Deer, and Socks, a very smart fox cub who became an overnight star after she had her article published in a wildlife photography magazine.

In the beginning, I was only photographing these encounters, though, as time went by, I started filming them as well, with the goal that when I'll finally create a video, whoever watches those scenes unfold in front of their eyes will become fonder of the protagonists of those moments. After many failed attempts and hours spent post-processing, Seasons - A Wildlife Short Story in Four Acts was born.

Without giving too much into details, the tale begins in the early spring, when the yellow crocus rises to carpet the entire forest in blazing shades of yellow, follows the life of some of the more courageous inhabitants of the forest, and ends on a cold February day, after a long-awaited snow cover finally settles over the dormant landscape, just in time for everything to rest before the spring reawakening.
